Talented Violinist Will Make First Appearance With Boston Orchestra in Sanders Theatre Tonight

The Boston Symphony Orchestra will give the second of its series of nine concerts in Sanders Theatre tonight at 8 o'clock. This evening's soloist will be Miss Carmela Ippolito an extremely talented young violinist. This will be her first appearance with the Boston Symphony.

Single tickets for this concert are on sale at the University Bookstore, Cambridge.

Program Includes Brahms

The Program of the concert follows:

Symphony No. 4 in E minor. Op. 98. Brahms

1. Allegro non troppo.

2. Andante moderato.

3. Allegro glocoso.

4. Allegro energico e passionato.

Concerto for Violin. No. 1 in G. minor, Op. 26, Brach

1. Prelude. Allegro moderato.

2. Adagio.

3. Allegro energico.

Symphonic Poem No. 3, "Les Preludes" Liszt (after Lamartine), Soloist Carmela Ippolito.
