COACH FISHER LIKELY TO START TEAM A LINE IN SATURDAY CONTEST

PRACTICE FEATURED BY LONG DUMMY SCRIMMAGE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With the exception of Captain Buell, the entire University squad was dressed for practice yesterday and all but Spalding took part in a severe dummy scrimmage which lasted throughout the afternoon. From the result of the workout it appears almost certain that Coach Fisher will start the team A line but a substitute backfield against Brown on Saturday.

Thus the line-up will probably be Jenkins and Holder ends, Eastman and Dunker tackles, C. J. Hubbard and Grew guards, Clark center, Spalding quarterback, Hammond, Churchill, and Rouillard backs. Dunker has not entirely recovered from his injury received in the Princeton game and it seems likely that Greenough may take his place in the opening line-up Saturday. Likewise Kernan will probably replace Clark at center and Fitts is certain to be used in the backfield during part of the game.

Coach Fisher will take at least part of the team A backfield to Princeton Saturday to see the Tiger-Eli game, Buell, Owen, Chapin, and perhaps Gehrke making the trip. Clark likewise will probably accompany the party.

Punting and Defensive Work

In yesterday's practice Lee and Akers piloted team A which was otherwise lined up as enumerated above. Spalding did not take part in the dummy scrimmage which consisted chiefly of punting between teams A and B, and later defensive work by the first eleven against Coach Knox's men. Rouillard in particular was outstanding in the work-out.

Buell discarded his crutches for the first time yesterday and will be ready for practice on Monday. H. B. Wagner '23 and T. W. Hoag '25, a guard and tackle respectively, were advanced to the University squad yesterday. Post was injured in Monday's scrimmage and will be out for the rest of the season.
