STADIUM ENTRANCE RULES AND TRAFFIC REGULATION BEFORE GAME ANNOUNCED

ENTRANCE GATES TO STADIUM OPEN AT 12.30

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A large amount of traffic is expected at the game tomorrow, and unless great care is taken, serious congestion will result. For this reason special rules will be in force tomorrow for parking and driving, and for handling the crowd at Soldiers Field.

Arrangements for handling automobile traffic have been made with the Cambridge, Boston, and Metropolitan Park Commission Police Departments. After 12.30 o'clock tomorrow, Boylston street will be closed to all vehicles from Mt: Auburn street to the Anderson Bridge, and its continuation on the Boston side of the river--North Harvard street--will be closed from the Anderson Bridge to Western avenue, Brighton. The only automobile gates admitting to Soldiers Field will be on the Soldiers Field Parkway, which will be the only route for automobilists.

Prohibit Parking of Vehicles

No vehicles may be parked on Boylston or North Harvard streets, or on Massachusetts avenue between Quincy and Church streets, between the hours of 12 and 5, but a limited number may be left along the Parkway on the Cambridge side of the river. All automobiles parked here, however, must be faced away from Boylston street, to obviate turning cars around after the game, since it will not be possible to drive across Boylston street. After the game all cars parked in Soldiers Field or on the Soldiers Field Parkway must leave by driving westward along this Parkway. The police warn automobilists not to leave their cars in charge of numerous boys who offer to mind them, as many thefts have occurred in this way.

Rules for Entering Field

Regulations for entrances into Soldiers Field will be different from those which have been in force so far this year. All gates will be numbered and will be opened at 12.30 o'clock. The gate nearest the Anderson Bridge, or gate 1, will admit spectators with tickets in sections 23 to 37 inclusive and men with press badges; all others with badges and passes will enter through gate 2 next to the Locker Building; those in sections 38 to 51, comprising the wooden stands, will be admitted at gate 3 near the East tower; the entrance for sections 1 to 10 is at gate 4 opposite the East tower; those in sections 11 to 37 will enter through gate 5 near the bowl end of the Stadium. Gates 6, 7, 8, and 9 will not be used, motorists parking in Soldiers Field will drive in through gates 10 and 11; motorists who leave their cars on the Parkway may enter on foot through gate 11A near the southwest corner of the field, or through gate 12 opposite the University Boathouse; motorists with special automobile passes will drive in at gate 13 between the boathouse and the bridge.

Retiring Rooms Provided

Retiring rooms for ladies have been provided at the base of the East and West towers and under sections 8, 28, and 32. Rooms for men are located back of sections 40 and 49.

Spectators must keep their seats until the game is over. Ushers have been instructed to allow no one to stand in the aisles or entrances while the game is in progress. Persons leaving their seats must leave the field.
