The Right Reverend Logan Herbert Roots, D. D. '91, Bishop of Hankow, will deliver the second of his series of lectures on. "The Present Situation in China" this afternoon at 4 o'clock in Reed Hall of the Episcopal Theological School, Brattle street.
On Monday, Bishop Roots sketched the background of the situation and history of China, and the political, industrial, and educational revolutions now going on there. Today and Friday, he will deal more specifically with western influences on Chinese government, thought, and progress.
The lecture today will close promptly at 4.45.
