TWENTY-FIVE REPORT FOR FALL LACROSSE PRACTICE YESTERDAY

Squad Will be Divided into Teams--Silver Cups for Winners of Inter-Team Matches--Field Appointed Manager

Fall Lacrosse practice started yesterday afternoon at Soldiers Field when about 25 men signed up for the autumn period of four or five weeks. Most of these were members of last year's Freshman and University squads.

The squad will be divided up into teams this year in order that everybody may be given a chance to play in real games. An inter-team series is to be held and the members of the winning team will be awarded silver cups, presented by old graduates interested in Lacrosse at the University.

The appointment of Van Duzee Field '23, of Jackson, Michigan, as manager has just been announced; but is subject to the approval of the Student Council.
