UNION TO BE OPEN ONLY TO MEMBERS

Small Upstairs Dining Room Will be Reserved for Groups Eating Together--System Inaugurated Last Year

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Today is the last day that the Union will be open to everyone in the University, for beginning tomorrow it will be closed to all except members. On and after tomorrow no cash purchases will be allowed, but all purchases will be charged on University term bills. If any member wishes to ascertain the amount of his Union charges at any time during the year he should enquire at the Bursar's Office.

Members may introduce guests by having them sign their name in the guest book, except on nights of lectures, when special cards must be secured before 5 o'clock of that day. Members may also obtain guest cards from the Graduate Manager which will entitle their guest to all the privileges of the Union for two weeks including that of charging purchases.

The Club Table system, which was successfully inaugurated last year, will be continued this year at the Union by reserving the small up-stairs dining-room for groups of six or more who wish to eat together. There is a small weekly charge over the restaurant rates for eating in the Club dining-room. Applications from groups--all the members of which must, of course, be members of which must, of course, be members of the Union--should be given to Mr. James Mead, the superintendant of the Union, who will give all information regarding hours, prices, and available tables.

No club or organization will be allowed to hold a meeting or any other function in the Union unless 40 percent of its members are members of the Union. If any club or organization intends to hold any meeting in the Union, it should furnish the Graduate Manager's Office with the latest list of its members as far as possible in advance of the date on which the club intends to use the Union.
