PFAFFMAN SHIFTED TO QUARTER

Change Due to Wealth of Half-Back Material--Team Has Light Practice

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Because of the wealth of halfbacks and the scarcity of experienced quarters on the University squad, Coach Fisher yesterday shifted Pfaffman from his old position of right halfback to quarter.

At present Buell is the only experienced field general, and since Pfaffman has had a year of experience with the University and one with the 1924 team, the coaches are hoping that he will prove to be a valuable alternate for Captain Buell. His value as a drop-kicker is another reason for the shift.

Yesterday Coach Fisher sent his men through a light practice but the rest of the week will probably be taken up with hard scrimmages in order to stiffen up the defense for the coming game with Holy Cross.
