Professor Theodore Lyman '97 Speaks on "Flash and Sound Ranging" at Opening Meeting--Officers Elected

The James A. Shannon Post of the American Legion held its first meeting of the year on Wednesday night, which was attended by the members of the post and their guests.

Professor Theodore Lyman '97 spoke on "Flash and Sound Ranging". Professor Lyman, who was connected with this work during the war, outlined the method of procedure in locating hostile batteries by flash and sound computations, and told of the remarkably accurate results that were obtained.
