ANNUAL FRESHMAN FALL REGATTA BEGINS TODAY

Seconds Will Race Over Mile Course This Afternoon--Winning Eight to Meet Firsts Tomorrow--Dormitory Scoring Most Points Will Win Cup

The Annual Freshman fall regatta opens today. The interdormitory cup will be presented to the dormitory scoring the highest number of points.

The second eights of all three Freshman dormitories will race over the mile course from the Cottage Farm Bridge to the Harvard Bridge at 4.30 o'clock this afternoon. The winning second crew will be entered against the first dormitory crews to race over the same course at 4.30 o'clock tomorrow.

The third dormitory crews will race over the half-mile course from the Stillman Infirmary to Anderson Bridge at 4.30 o'clock today. The fifth dormitory crews will compete over the same half-mile course half an hour earlier.

On Friday besides the first dormitory crew races, the fourth and sixth crews will race over the half-mile course at 3.45 and 4.30 o'clock respectively.

At the end of the fall rowing season Freshmen will be given a vacation of one week, during which period they must sign up for some winter sport.
