The match play scores on the first round and semi-finals of the Freshman golf tournament, under the auspices of the Harvard Golf Association have been submitted and are as follows:
First Round:
K. F. Nash defeated George Potter, 4 and 3; F. T. Hord defeated F. D. Frost, 3 and 2; Frederick Bernheim defeated Charles Snow, 1 up; R. W. Jones III defaulted to L. H. Sherrill.
In the semi-finals, Frederick Bernheim defeated F. T. Hord, 4 and 3; and L. H. Sherrill defeated K. F. Nash, 1 up.
Bernheim and Sherrill will play off the finals this week, and the winner becomes Freshman Champion. The match will be played at Waltham, and will be thirty-six holes.
In the second round of the University golf tournament C. L. Peirson '25 defeated G. P. Ludlam '25, 4 and 3, and R. S. Phillips '24 defeated R. M. Clough '24, 3 and 2. In the semi-final round R. T. Jones '23 will play Phillips and Clark Hodder '25 will play Peirson. Hodder and Peirson played to a tie yesterday, and were unable to play it off on account of darkness.
