K. O. Mott-Smith Gives Exhibition-Plays 20 Games at Once

The Chess Club announced yesterday the results of the exhibition matches played by K. O. Mott-Smith '22 Tuesday evening. Mott-Smith gave an exhibition of simultaneous chess in which several of the games latested until after midnight. Playing twenty matches at once, he lost two, drew one and won the remaining 17.

His two successful opponents were Godfrey Dewey 3 G. E. and Dr. Philip Franklin, instructor in mathematics at the University. R. E. Spaulding '26 won a draw after playing for two hours
