Beginning today the Lower Reading Room in Widener will be open just as the main reading room,--until 10 P. M. daily, Saturdays included, and from 1 until 10 P. M. every Sunday. This is expected to prevent the former Saturday noon rush for books to be used over the week-end.
As with the main reading room reserved books which are borrowed Saturday night may be kept until 2 P. M. Sunday. By having all History 1 students in the Lower Reading Room, the over-crowding of the main room on Sunday evenings will be avoided.
Books on the open shelves may be borrowed after 5 P. M. Saturday to be kept until 9 A. M. Monday. This now applies both to the lower and the main reading rooms.
