The University Observatory, entrance on Concord avenue opposite Buckingham street, will be open to visitors for the first time this fall from 7.30 until 9 o'clock tonight. A short talk will be preceded, if weather permits, by telescopic observations of celestial objects. Exhibits showing the work of the observatory will be explained by members of the staff.

The other dates on which the observatory will be open this fall are October 28, November 13, November 28, and December 12. A limited number of admission tickets for any one of the open nights will be sent on application and must be obtained in advance. There will be no charge for admission.
