The reply, addressed to the President of the Woodrow Wilson Club, follows:

"The birthday message from officers and students of Harvard University, which you were kind enough to send me with your letter of twenty-seventh December, has given me deep gratification; and I hope there may be some occasion upon which you can convey to the subscribers an expression of my appreciation. It is very delightful and heartening to be made aware of such friendship and confidence". (Signed) Woodrow Wilson.
