Contrary to custom the opening performances of the 47 Workshop play, "Pastora Imperio", will be on January 26 and 27. Generally the Workshop opens its plays on Friday and Saturday, but this time the day has been advanced due to the fact that already an invitation has been extended to the producers to play at Haverhill on Saturday evening.
A unique feature of the performance is that no undergraduate will have a place in the cast, as work would interfere with mid-year examinations. The productions will not be limited to Cambridge, for in all probability the Workshop will accept the invitations to play at Haverhill, Worcester, and other places.
All scenes have been decided in the recent competition except one for the third act. The competition is now open to the winners of the other sets and will be decided on Thursday.
