SQUASH TEAM LOSES STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TO UNION BOAT CLUB

TEAM B WHITEWASHES B.A.A. IN FINAL MATCH

The club championship of the Massachusetts Squash Racquets Association was won by the Union Boat Club on Saturday when it defeated the University team by the score of 4 to 1 on the Harvard Club courts. Every match was closely contested, D.McK. Key '22 scoring the University's only point, while Carrell Harrington '24 barely lost to W.F. Howe Jr. in a hard-fought five game encounter. The absence of Myles P. Baker '22 from the line-up was keenly felt by the University players. Meanwhile team B Whitewashed the Boston Athletic Association team on the University courts in its final match of the season.

Class, A.--C.C. Peabody defeated Malcolm Bradlee '22, 15-8, 15-11, 11-15, 18-15; D.McK. Key '22 defeated Mark Wendell, 15-13, 13-15, 15-4, 15-9; C.J. Lennthan Jr. defeated R.E. Smith '22, 15-12, 4-15, 15-2, 15-12; Bartlett Harwood defeated E.M. Hinkle '23, 15-12, 6-15, 15-12, 15-10; W.F. Howe Jr. defeated Carroll Harrington '24, 14-16, 15-11, 15-5, 15-17, 17-15.

Class B.--C.J. Mason Jr. '22 defeated C.D. Wellington, 15-13, 17-15, 15-12; F.I. Carpenter Jr. '24, defeated H.C. Johnson, 15-11, 15-11, 15-8; J.T. Bradlee '22 defeated W.M. Bullivant, 15-9, 15-10, 18-14; C.C. Colt '24 defeated A.S. Russell, 15-13, 11-15, 15-12, 13-15, 15-12; R.C. Bostwick '23 defeated S: G. Gifford, 15-8, 15-8, 16-15.
