Wins First Meet of Season by Score of 8 to 5--E.H. Lane '24 Winner of Fencing Tournament at B.A.A.

The University fencing team defeated M.I.T. 8 to 5 on Saturday in its first meet of the season Captain Burke Boyce '22, J.S. Barss '22, and R.H. Lane '24 won all their matches for the University.

The first of a series of monthly tournaments, held on Saturday evening at the B.A.A., was won by E.R. Lane '24, who defeated Burke Boyce '22 and Ensign Calnan, an Olympic fencer while E.H. Lane '24 won fourth place.
