In spite of the many changes occasioned by the mid-year examinations, students will find most of the usual facilities offered by the various University buildings open to them during this period.

The Library at the Union, will remain open beginning today until midnight every night throughout the Examination period. Since Widener Library during this period will close as usual at 10 o'clock in the evening, this additional time will afford greater opportunities for men to use Library books in preparation for examinations.

Most of the departments of the Boylston Chemical Laboratory are to keep short hours for the next three weeks. The Elementary and the Higher Course Laboratories will be closed during the entire period, but the three other main divisions, the Research Laboratories, the Library and the Main Store-room will remain open to students who may have occasion to use them in preparation for the examinations in Chemistry. The former department is to keep hours from 8 to 5 o'clock, and on Saturdays from 8 to 1 o'clock, while the latter will be accessible from 9 to 12 and 2 to 4 o'clock daily except Saturdays when it will close at noon. The Library is to keep hours daily from 9 to 1, 2 to 5, and 7 to 10 o'clock, and on Saturday between 9 and 1 o'clock, an on Saturday between 9 and 10 o'clock and from 7 to 10 o'clock in the evening.

Athletic Buildings Will be Open

In addition to these facilities for study during the Midyear season, all the various Athletic Buildings will be open to students, according to a recent announcement of the Physical Training Department. The Freshman Athletic Building, the Big Three Swimming Pool, the Squash Courts and Hemenway Gymnasium will be available daily at the usual hours form 9 o'clock to 7 o'clock in the evening. A new feature of the daily schedule will be a boxing class between the hours of 4.30 and 5.30 o'clock every afternoon. This class will meet in Hemenway under the direction of Lawrence Conley, coach of the University boxing team.
