The dinner for alumni of Boston and vicinity interested in University rowing will be held at the Varsity Club today at 1 'clock. Dr. R. H. Howe Jr. '01 and Captin L. B. McCagg Jr. '22 will speak and the various members of the regular coaching staff will be present.
About 60 acceptances have been received from former oarsmen of the University, ranging from the Class of 1853 to the Class of 1921. The meeting is to be the first of several held during the next few weeks for graduates interested in the reorganization of crew.
