The squash management announces that Mr. Henry Cowles, who has been coaching the University teams this season, has been engaged to continue his coaching during Mid-Years and immediately after. There will be an opportunity for all members of the University to obtain instruction from him on Tuesdays and Thursday from 4 to 6 o'clock.

Men who wish to avail themselves of this instruction should sign up in a blue-book which will be posted at the University Squash Courts at 11 o'clock on Monday. They are to sign up for half-hour periods, and the management requests that men do not sign up for more than one period a week.

The Massachusetts State Squash Racquets Tournament began yesterday with 76 entrants. Of the members of the University who entered, Belded Wigglesworth '23 was defeated by C. C. Peabody, captain of the Union Boat Club team, by the score of 15-4, 15-9, 15-2. Slater Washburn of Worcester defeated T. S. Hanington '23, 17-16, 15-13, 15-11; while H. B. Shaw of the Tennis and Racquet Club won from E. M. Hinkle '23, 15-12, 15-7, 17-14.
