Announcement was made last night that the meeting for New York alumni interested in rowing would be held on Friday, February 10, at the Harvard Club of New York City. All University graduates of New York or the vicinity, who were on the crew while at College, have been invited to a dinner at which Dr. R. H. Howe Jr. '01 and Captain L. B. McCagg Jr. '22 will speak and explain the plans for University rowing. After the dinner there will be a meeting for all members of the New York Harvard Club.
Up to the present time over 50 acceptances from former rowing men have been received for the dinner to be held this week at the Boston Harvard Club. Former oarsmen ranging from the class of 1853 to the class of 1921 will attend. Dr. Howe, Captain McCagg, and various members of the coaching staff will explain the reorganization of University rowing and the plans for the coming season.
On Friday Dr. Howe will represent the University at the annual meeting of the stewards of the American Henley.
