The Crimson hockey squad held its last practice before the Princeton game yesterday and will leave this afternoon at 1 o'clock to face the Tigers at the Philadelphia Ice Palace tomorrow night. The University men will spend tonight at the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City and will go on to Philadelphia tomorrow afternoon.
In addition to Coach Claflin the following eleven will make the trip: Angler, Baker, Crosby, Flint, Gratwick, Higgins, Hill, Larocque, Martin, Owen, and Walker.
The final pre-game work-out at the Arena yesterday afternoon consisted mainly of a general polishing, an unusually short scrimmage being held. In the preliminary practice special emphasis was laid on shooting. Coach Claflin had his players sending the puck into the cage from every possible angle. He also drilled the Crimson men in receiving short, snappy passes from the side of the rink a few feet in front, of the net and snapping the puck in on the wing.
Towards the end of the afternoon the B. A. A. sextet scrimmaged the University players for about fifteen minutes. Coach Claflin kept his regulars in for only a short time, letting the second string men bear the bruat of the B. A. A. attack.
