FINAL DEBATING TRIALS TO BE HELD TONIGHT AT 6.30

Teams and Alternates to Face Pittsburg and Syracuse on February 25 to be Selected

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Final trials for the University debating teams which are to face Pittsburg and Syracuse on Saturday, February 25, will be held tonight in Harvard 6 at 6.30. Nine men will be chosen to represent the University, three of whom will be selected for each of the teams, the remaining three being retained as alternates.

There will be an opportunity in the future for all men who have not time enough to try out for the debating team, but who wish experience in speaking, to give short five-minute talks before the public. A request has been made to the Debating Council by certain local organizations to secure a number of such men. All those interested can obtain further information by applying to Philip Walker, 52 Hampden Hall, or Parker Sharp, A35 Persis Smith.
