Monday, October 3, has been selected as the opening day of the annual University fall tennis tournament this year. On this date as many as possible of the first rounds will be played off on the Jarvis Field courts. All men in the University are eligible and may sign up now for both the doubles and singles in the blue books that have been posted at Leavitt & Peirce's. The winner of the singles becomes the University champion. Besides determining the champion the tournament is intended to furnish information on the prospective material for the University and Freshman teams next spring.
