Freshman Reception in Union at 8

At 8 o'clock this evening the annual Faculty reception of students will be held in the Living Room of the Union. Dean Briggs, Chairman of the Committee on the Reception of Students, will preside at the meeting. Besides Dean Briggs, the speakers will be President Lowell, Mr. George Wigglesworth '74, President of the Union. Assistant Dean Chase, Professor Kirsopp Lake, and Coach Bingham. All will extend to the new students a cordial welcome to the University. Refreshments will be served after the meeting. At 6.20 this evening, before the meeting the Governing Board of the Union will give a dinner in the Trophy Room in honor of President Lowell. Members of the Faculty and several undergraduates will be among the quests.
