Yesterday afternoon at three o'clock funeral services for Richard Perkins Parker '22 of Salem, were held at the North Church, Essex Street, Salem. Several undergraduates of the University acted as pail bearers and ushers, and there were flowers and wreaths from the various clubs and organizations in whose activities Parker took a part during his three years at college.
In his Freshman year Parker was a member of the Marine Corps at the University during the fall. In the spring he became Assistant Business Manager of the Red Book and a member of the 1922 Dinner Committee and also of the baseball squad. The following fall he won his H 2nd at football and also became business editor of the Lampoon. He was a member of the Owl Club, Signet Society, Phoenix Club, Hasty Pudding Club, Institute of 1770, and D. K. E. He took part in last spring's Hasty Pudding Show, "Wetward Ho!" and also served as a member of the Junior Dance Committee.
