ENGLISH MEET TO BE CONSIDERED AS PART OF SPRING SEASON

AWARD ATHLETIC INSIGNIA TO VARIOUS TEAMS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Men that were not eligible to represent the University in athletics previous to the final examinations will not be permitted to take part in the Harvard-Yale-Cambridge-Oxford track meet according to the announcement made by the athletic Committee yesterday. Just as the crew race and baseball games with Yale, the coming track meet will be considered as a part of the 1920-21 athletic season. It is for this reason that eligibility will be decided on the basis of the standing of the men before and not after the final examinations.

The Committee also voted against recognizing boxing as an intercollegiate sport. No action was taken on the Baseball Advisory Committee's recommendation that Austin Blair's letter be taken away.
