NO CHANGE IN CREW SEATING PROBABLE FOR RACE WITH YALE

After a two days' rest the University crews practiced on the Charles again yesterday and were given a hard row down to the Union Boathouse and back again. After the practice Coach Haines announced that the men who rowed against Cornell and on the Junior University eight at the Henley would in all probability remain as at present in their respective shells for the Yale race. Dennet Withington '22, P. B. Kunhardt '23, S. A. Duncan '22 and J. A. Nickcrson 2nd '22 have been chosen as substitutes.

The coaches seem at last to have found the best combination and the best stroke. Against Cornell the showing was on the whole encouraging, especially in view of the fact that the men had rowed together for less than ten days. The eight showed power and on the whole good form; the problem now is to smooth cut the faults that are still evident in the work of then crew. In an endeavor to do most of this if possible before leaving for New London, Coach Haines has ordered the hardest workouts this year for the rest of the week.

The Freshmen did not row yesterday but will practice today. It is generally understood that there will be no radical change in the yearlings' seating for the New London race.

The "John Harvard", the "White Pup", and the "Brow Pup" the three launches that will be used in coaching on the Thames, will leave for Red Top today; the shells and equipment will be sent on Friday and the men will leave on Saturday; there will be no rowing on Saturday.
