The Harvard Italian Club will commemorate the six-hundredth anniversary of Dante's death on Monday, May 9. The program will be held at 8 o'clock in the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall of the Music Building. properly this observance should be held on September 14, since that is the date of the poet's death according to the best authorities; the University will still be closed at that time so that the club has thought it best to honor the great Italian genius at this early date.
