ITALIAN CLUB TO HONOR DANTE

Plan Meeting for May 9 in Memory of Poet--Prof. Grandgent to Speak

Assisted by the Dante Society of America, the University Italian Club has arranged to hold a special meeting Monday evening, May 9, in the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall to commemorate the 600th anniversity of the death of Dante. Professor C. H. Grandgent '83, Professor of Romance Languages at the University and President of the Dante Society of America, will give an address on the great Italian poet, upon whom he is one of the leading authorities in this country. The Pierian Sodality orchestra will give a half hour's program at the beginning of the meeting, to which all, the general public included, interested in Dante are invited.
