Winning four straight matches, the Freshman tennis team made a clean sweep when it met Browne and Nichols yesterday on the Divinity Courts. None of the sets went to extra games, the Crimson players winning with little difficulty. The most interesting contest was the doubles match in which J. D. DuBois and Parke Cummings of the Freshman team defeated Babbitt and Parker, 6-4, 6-4. The other results were: in the singles, Captain Pfaffman defeated Parker, 6-1, 6-2; C. W. Farnham Jr. defeated Collier, 6-1, 6-2; in the doubles W. E. Crosby Jr. and E. St. R. Reynal defeated Carpenter and Collier, 6-4, 6-2.
