SCRUBS DEFEAT HUNTINGTON

Although the University Scrubs won 5-3 in the game with Huntington yesterday, their usual heavy hitting gave way to strikeouts. Glennon, the schoolboy pitcher, was credited with eighteen strikeouts, being by far the strongest pitcher the Seconds have faced. In fielding and at the bat Glennon was also a power, with two difficult catches and a home-run and a double to prove his versatility. He scored two of his team's runs.

The Scrubs' runs were more in the nature of gifts than of earned results. Four passes were turned into runs with the help of woird bits of fielding by Glennon's supporters. The fifth tally was scored by P. S. Dickson ocC., who had hit safely and stolen second, when K. B. Lucas '23 drove him in with long single. J. C. Ross '23 scored three runs in four trips to the plate.

This afternoon the undefeated scrubs will face Andover at Soldiers Field in the game postponed earlier in the season, and tomorrow Providence College will play them here.
