Bates Accepts Oxford Challenge

Bates College has definitely accepted the challenge of Oxford University for a debate June 7. The Bates team has already started preparation on the affirmative of the question presented by the English team: "Resolved, That this house approves the American policy of non-interference in European affairs." The necessary funds for the trip to England will be raised by popular subscription.
