HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
Few men will deny that the idea of building a memorial to "Harvard's greatest graduate" is an excellent one. Few men will deny that the suggestion of a "Roosevelt House" brought forward by the Roosevelt Memorial Committee of University alumni is the best plan so far proposed. It would not only furnish an interesting and attractive room for undergraduates, but would also provide the University with some much needed floor space.
It is to be hoped, however, that the committee will not attempt to make any large collection of funds at the present time. With so many "drives" just past, there would be little hope for the success of such a project, admirable as it is. Nor would it be wise to conflict in any way with the interests of the Endowment Fund. Later on, there is no doubt that the memorial should, and will be speedily provided for.
