NEW HAVEN, CONN., May 18, 1921.--Batting heavily in the pinches the Pittsburg University nine defeated, the Yale team today by a score of 6-3 Batteries; Yale; Chittenden and Peters; Pittsburg; Barrett and Saper.

The Freshman nine won from Goddard Seminary 6 to 0, Ross, the Blue pitcher, striking out twelve men, allowing but one hit and getting three himself.
