May 21, Graduates' Day, Will Include Speeches in the Morning and Annual Dinner in Evening--Men Will Be Free in Afternoon to Watch Athletics

Saturday, May 21, has been decided as the date for the celebration this year of Graduates' Day. Present indications are that the meeting this year, under the auspices of the New England Federation of Harvard Clubs, will attract even a larger attendance than that at the highly successful meeting on May 30 last year, at which 160 graduates were present.

The morning meeting, at 10 o'clock in the Faculty Room of University Hall, will largely be taken up by addresses by men directly connected with the University at present. The speakers will be: Dean Henry A. Yeomans '00, "Students From Other Colleges"; Professor John L. Lowes '03, "The New Requirement in Literature"; Professor Harold H. Burbank, "Tutors"; Professor Roger B. Merriman '96, "The General Final Examination"; and Mr. Henry Pennypacker '88, "Relations to Schools".

The program for the day is so arranged that after lunch, which will be at the Union, the afternoon will be free, so that the visiting graduates may have an opportunity to examine the buildings, or go to the University-Princeton baseball game and track meet on Soldiers Field.

In the evening, the annual dinner will be held at the Harvard Club in Boston. George Wigglesworth '74, a member of the Board of Overseers, will preside, and President Lowell will be the principal speaker. Arrangements have also been made for the University Glee Club to sing at the dinner.

Graduates who expect to go to the dinner 'should send their subscriptions immediately to Mr. Alfred E. Chase '05, Merchants' National Bank, Boston.
