Seven schools are represented in the twenty-nine entries in the Interscholastic Tennis Tournament which starts this morning at 9.30 o'clock on Jarvis Field. All preliminary rounds will be played off today and the semi-finals and final matches will take place on Monday. Exeter, with ten men entered, is a favorite to repeat her victory of last year, but will be close-pressed by Andover and Browne and Nichols. W. W. Ingraham, winner last year, and now playing for Exeter will be the strongest contender for the championship but will meet much stiff opposition from Butterworth, a team mate, and A. Ingraham of Woonsocket High School.
Besides those mentioned above, the schools included are Huntington, Boston Latin, and Worcester Academy.
