UNIVERSITY LACROSSE TEAM TO OPPOSE SYRACUSE TODAY

Visitors Will Present Strong Aggregation in Game This Afternoon on Soldiers Field--Second League Contest

The University lacrosse team will face Syracuse this afternoon at 4 o'clock on Soldiers Field in the third home game of the season. The record of the Crimson players since the southern trip during the spring vacation includes a 4-2 win over Penn and a 3-1 defeat by Hobart. The Syracuse team this season is exceptionally strong and will have on it this afternoon several veterans of last year's twelve which conquered the University 7-2. Today's will be the second league game for the Crimson men, Syracuse being a member of the intercollegiate organization which includes also the University, Cornell, Hobart and Yale.

The University line-up for this-afternoon: G., Pratt (acting captain): p., Allen; c.p., Kanter; 1d., Lindsley; 2d., Webber; 3d., Dallinger; c., Welch; 3a., Hatch; 2a., Toohy; 1a., Nunneker; o.h., Treaner; i.h., Westman.
