8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
The goal of the whole track season, toward which those in charge of the Harvard team have been working ever since last September, is the Yale meet this Saturday. Whether or not the track season has been a success, will be determined largely by the results of this meet. Yale this spring has one of the strongest teams it has had for a number of years; our own team has shown great improvement, and has earned an A1 rating. The two teams are evenly matched, and that team which fights hardest will win. Bill Bingham, Eddie Farrell, and Captain O'Connell have been doing their utmost to develop a fighting spirit in the Harvard team. Those graduates who have been following the progress of the team closely, believe that they have succeeded in doing it.
If the University team is the winner on Saturday, some of the credit for the victory must be given to those members of the track squad, who, although they have failed to make places keener, and so have helped develop the strength and spirit of the team.
