Scrubs Face Brown Seconds

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With the record of being so far unbeaten in either their formal or informal contests, the University Scrubs face the Brown University second baseball team at 4 o'clock this afternoon at Soldiers Field. The consecutive victories that can be attributed to the Seconds are not misleading in their meaning, for the Crimson aggregation is a strong one, with considerable hitting power, and the ability to rally in the pinches.

Of the players who will start, C. J. Mason '92 is a clever fielder and a batter who can be relied on, while S. B. Chase '21 is a steady performer at short stop. J. C. Bancroft '23, at first, is not too sure on his throws, but he can be counted on at bat. P. S. Dickson ocC. is the heaviest hitter on the nine.

The Scrubs will bat in the following order: 3b., J. C. Ross '23; c. f., P. S. Dickson ocC.; r.f., K. B. Lucas '22; s.s., S. B. Chase '21; 1b., J. C. Bancroft '23; 2b., C. J. Mason '22; l.f., J. S. Clark '23; e., C. C. Macomber '22; p., J. M. A. Blair '23.
