Open Only to Men Who Have Not Placed in Previous Meets

The first Novice Meet of the season will be held this afternoon on the Stadium track at 2.30 o'clock. The events will be entirely run from scratch and will be open to all members of the University and Freshman squads who have never placed against actual opponents of the Crimson or in handicap meets at the University. Another Novice Meet will take place in about a week. No man who places in today's events will be eligible to compete in this later meet.
