The University fencing team will compete today and tomorrow in the Intercollegiate Fencing Tournament at the Hotel Astor, New York City. Captain S. H. Ordway '21, Burke Boyce '22, W. R. Brewster '22, S. S. Kurtz '21 and J. S. Barss '22 left last night to take part in the tournament. J. K. Watson '23 accompanied the regular team to compete in the Clemens Medal Novice Competition.

Besides the University, the following colleges will have teams entered: Yale, Columbna, Annapolis, Dartmouth, M. I. T., Penn and Bowdoin. Two of these, Yale and Columbia, defeated the University this year, both by a very close margin.

Captain Ordway has been defeated only once this year in a match with foils, and is considered one of the best collegiate foilsmen.
