It has been definitely decided to close the Freshman Red Book competitions for the Editorial, Photographic, and Arts and Cuts Departments on April 16, the last day before the spring vacation. The Business Department candidates will not be selected until a few days after the close of the vacation.
Although many other publications and year books are being held up on account of the printers' strike, the Red Book Board does not expect to be delayed owing to the fact that the Andover Press at Andover, Massachusetts, which put out its first Freshman Red Book last spring, will do the printing again this year; and that its workers, non-union men, will be unaffected by the strike.
