The University fencing team will leave this afternoon to compete in the Intercollegiate. Tournament to be held there tomorrow and Saturday at the Hotel Astor. The University will be represented by Captain S. H. Ordway '21, Burke Boyce '22, W. R. Brewster '22, S. S. Kurtz '21 and J. S. Barss '22. J. K. Watson '23 will also make the trip to compete in the Clemens Medal Novice Competition.

Other colleges taking part in the tournament will be Yale, Columbia, Annapolis, Dartmouth, M. I. T., Penn. and Bowdoin. The University has been defeated by only two of these, Yale and Columbia.

The prospects of the team are excellent. Foils alone will be used and Captain Ordway ranks as one of the best of college foilsmen. He is expected to lead the University to a high place in the meet, having been defeated in but one foils match this season, the one against Yale, when he met Captain S. N. Walker of the Yale team. Boyce, who placed second in the recent College Tournament, is also expected to place well for the University.
