John Cowles '21, of Des Moines, Iowa, has been appointed Tree Orator by the Class Day Committee to take the place of Davis Merwin '22, who has resigned the position. Cowles, who completed his college course in three years, was last year a member of the Advocate, Crimson, and Lampoon boards. He will deliver his oration to the Senior Class only, early Class Day afternoon between Holden Chapel and the Phillips Brooks House.
