Spring practice for the Yale football squad, which was begun a few days after the end of the Easter vacation on April 6, ended last Thursday. The period of training was the longest and hardest ever held at Yale, and although the work was handicapped by many football men, among others Captain M. P. Aldrich, being engaged in the various spring sports, Coach "Tad" Jones has expressed himself as well satisfied with the results.

Besides the regular staff of coaches, many former Yale stars were no hand to give instruction to candidates for the positions they had held in former years.
