While the University took a day off yesterday to see the Red Sox play, the second team played the National Shawmut Bank of Boston team, winning a one-sided, seven inning game by the score of 13-2. Young and Strong, pitching for the seconds, held the visitors to three hits. Fast work by the Crimson fielders and steady work at the bat by Lucas, Bancroft, and Vitkin provided the other ingredients necessary for a decisive victory.
