RABBI WISE TO SPEAK TONIGHT

Will Lecture on Americanization at Phillips Brooks House

This evening at 8 o'clock in Peabody Hall of the Phillips Brooks House Rabbi Stephen Samuel Wise of the Free Synagogue of New York City will speak on "Americanization. True and False". The address is being given under the auspices of the Graduate Schools Society and will be open to all members of the University. Members of the Menorah Society are especially invited to attend.

Although a native of Hungary, Rabbi Wise gained his education in American universities and has been active in national affairs in this country. He founded the League of National Unity and the Eederation of American Zionists, and was a member of the Labor Committee of the Council of National defense. Since the war he has been active in the American Jewish Welfare Columittee.
