Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
The 1924 four-oared crews, 6 and 7, yesterday raced over a half-mile stretch against the first and second Brookline High School crews. In the race between the two first boats, the Freshmen came off second best with a short stretch of open water between them and the Brookline shell. The second yearling four crossed the line just ahead of their opponents, showing much better judgment in rowing their race than did Crew 6.
Make Single Shift
With a single shift in the second and third 1924 boats yesterday Coach Howe has settled on an arrangement of seating in these two shells which he considers pretty definite. Samuel Brown came up from the third boat to take the stroke oar in the second, sending David Sears back to 2 in the third. These two crews elected captains yesterday; Standish Bradford of Brookline was chosen for the second and George Gholson Walker of Plainville, Illinois, for the third.
The dormitory crews have also chosen their leaders, who are as follows: Gore, Edward Andrews Rose of New York City; Smith, Frederick Hedge Kennard Jr. of Newton Centre; Standish, Thomas Livermore Wells of Denver, Colorado.
