Large Amount of Clothing and Books Collected by Canvassers Before Recess--Clothes to Go to Various Charities, Books to P. B. H. Loan Library

Final results of the Phillips Brooks House clothing collection which was directed by Belden Wiggles worth '23 just before vacation were announced yesterday, and the totals show that the drive was a great success. Distribution of the articles collected has been delegated to the Near East Relief Commission, Robert College, Constantinople, the North Bennet Street Industrial School of Boston, the Cambridge Welfare Union, the Family Welfare Society of Boston, and the Morgan Memorial in Boston. The magazines collected will be sent to hospitals around Boston and the books will be placed in the Text Book Loan Library of the Phillips Brooks House.

The total number of various articles collected is an follows: Overcoats,  25 Single coats,  91 Coats and vests,  7 Suits,  15 Pants, Pairs,  108 Raincoats,  4 Hats and caps,  74 Shoes, pairs,  162 Shirts,  76 Vests,  68 Collars,  180 Ties,  135 Socks, Pairs,  40 Underclothes, articles,  58 Books,  100 Magazines, tone,  About 2 1-2
